Aerolíneas Argentinas postpones Porto Alegre resumption

Last November Aerolíneas Argentinas had confirmed the resumption of its flights to Porto Alegre as from January 2022. The company has suspended operations since March 2020 as a consequence of COVID-19.

Due to operational issues, Aerolíneas Argentinas informed that it postpones Porto Alegre’s start-up until February 2nd, 2022.

The Argentine airline will have 3 flights per week to the Brazilian city in Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8. Operations will be from and to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in the city of Buenos Aires.

With this schedule, Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer 510 weekly seats between Buenos Aires and Porto Alegre and vice versa.

At present, the carrier has flights to two airports in Brazil from Aeroparque or Ezeiza. Rio de Janeiro (GIG) and Sao Paulo (GRU) have 7 and 14 services per week respectively.
