Aerolíneas Argentinas increases flights to Punta del Este

-

In early December, due to an increase in demand, Aerolíneas Argentinas boosted from two to five weekly flights between Buenos Aires and Punta del Este. The Argentine company operates with Embraer 190s and Boeing 737-800s, with a capacity for 96 and 170 passengers respectively.

The two cities were re-connected last September after a 18-month suspension. Between March 2020 and September 2021, Punta del Este Airport has been without regular commercial operations.
