Viva Aerobus announces its operations at AIFA

Viva Aerobus has announced that it will be the upcoming airline to operate at the new Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA): the company’s CEO expressed that the routes that will provide service from the new air terminal are still to be defined.

“We realize that in the next few days rates for operating at the airport will be published, and once the fares are made public we will be able to define itineraries. We will be serving domestic flights” ,said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobús.

With this announcement, the company joins Volaris, which recently unveiled its new routes from AIFA to Cancun (CUN) and Tijuana (TIJ). So far, no other national airline, such as Aeromexico, or any international carrier has confirmed flying at the new airport, except for Venezuelan airline Conviasa, which is the only foreign airline that has expressed interest in flying to AIFA.
