-

As from December 5th, a new airline will be added to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, with the arrival of the low-cost SKY operating two weekly flights from Santiago de Chile.

This offer will be complemented with the daily flight they will have at Ezeiza International Airport, so SKY will close 2021 with eleven weekly flights between Buenos Aires and Santiago.

On December 14th, a flight will be added on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

«We are happy to be able to operate in this airport, as it is highly demanded by our passengers. This way we will be operating in both airports of Buenos Aires, increasing the frequencies that connect the Argentine capital with Santiago», commented Andrea Jans, Country Manager of SKY in Argentina.

Currently the offer between Buenos Aires/Aeroparque and Santiago de Chile consists of two daily flights from Aerolíneas Argentinas, five weekly flights from JetSMART (four from the Chilean subsidiary and one from the Argentine subsidiary) and two weekly flights from LATAM.

From Ezeiza SKY operates six weekly flights and LATAM eight.

LATAM leads in seat supply with 47%, followed by Aerolíneas Argentinas with 22.4%, SKY with 17.1% and JetSMART with 13.5%, according to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium.
