GOL resumes flights to Punta Cana

-

On Saturday (13) at 9:06 pm local time, the first GOL flight from Sao Paulo arrived at Punta Cana Airport. Operations were suspended for almost 21 months, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions.

The Brazilian airline will have three flights per week on the mentioned route in Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, configured with 186 seats. With this schedule, GOL will offer 558 weekly seats between São Paulo and Punta Cana and vice versa.

The Dominican city is the airline’s third international destination to and from Brazil. Montevideo and Cancún, as we reported, resumed operations on November 3rd and 12th respectively.
