GOL resumes flights to Montevideo

-

Earlier this Wednesday (3) at 12:28 local time, Gol Linhas Aéreas’ first flight from Sao Paulo landed at Montevideo airport. After almost 21 months, the Brazilian airline resumed regular operations in Uruguay.

This resumption to Montevideo represented GOL’s return to the international market. Since March 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, government restrictions, and its impact on demand, the airline had 100% of its flights in Brazil.

As of now, the company will have four weekly frequencies to and from São Paulo Guarulhos on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8. On November 15, it will increase to one daily flight.
