Flybondi plans to increase flights to Rio de Janeiro Galeão

As announced, next January 2nd, Flybondi will resume services to Rio de Janeiro after almost 22 months. Operations are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions.

The low cost carrier will have two weekly flights to and from Ezeiza International Airport in Boeing 737-800s, configured with 189 seats in a single class. Previously, operations were carried out at El Palomar Airport.

In response to an increase in demand, Flybondi plans to boost its weekly operations to Rio de Janeiro.

According to the booking system, the Argentine company plans to have a daily frequency between Buenos Aires and the Brazilian city from February 13th onwards.

The low cost would resume flights to Asunción in July, 2022. On the other hand, Porto Alegre still has no tentative restart date.
