Boeing Capital Corporation and Sky One FZE announced today Nov 16 at the Dubai Air Show an agreement for the sale of three 777-300 aircraft. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sky One FZE is a private aircraft leasing company based in the United Arab Emirates. Sky One FZE has a diversified business portfolio: wet and dry leasing, maintenance, repair and overhaul services, pilot training, operations, air operator certificate management, as well as spare parts and logistics. The company concentrates on airline growth in Africa, the Commonwealth of the Independent States, and India.
Sky One FZE CEO Charles Szar said, «With the addition of three Rolls Royce-powered 777-300s to our fleet, we plan to operate more commercial flights and further diversify our air charter service offering.» Sky One FZE runs charter flights for the Hajj and Umrah and provides additional capacity seasonally through wet leasing to airlines, and we are pleased to be moving from the 747s to the newer 777-300s».
