Avianca Announces New Fares and Seats

-

In order to offer a rate scheme adjusted to the travel needs of today’s customer, Avianca updated the fares offered to its passengers for domestic and international flights.

As previously mentioned, the Colombian carrier started offering since October 20, a simpler fare scheme of four sizes — XS, S, M and L — which allows its passengers to purchase other services in addition to the predetermined attributes of each fare, including the seat.

This decision is in line with the management that the airline carries out to become a simpler company with the best of the low-cost model, and taking advantage of the big route network, access to Avianca Lounge, LifeMiles loyalty program and Star Alliance membership.

Avianca estimates that the first aircraft with the complete design will be ready during the second quarter of 2022 and that the total and final configuration of the A320 fleet will be completed by the end of 2022.

The Colombian carrier also confirmed that the 787 Dreamliner aircraft, intended for long-range flights In America and Europe, they will retain the traditional executive cabin and will redesign the rest of the aircraft by adding next-generation seats and, as it is a moment of transition, customers will find aircraft that look different on the inside.
