On October 19th, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro were re-connected due to Aerolíneas Argentinas resumption. Operations had been suspended as a consequence of the Coronavirus pandemic and government restrictions.
In line with demand, Aerolíneas Argentinas started with two weekly services on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8, with a capacity for 170 passengers. Currently, the airline offers one daily frequency to and from Aeroparque.
From January 1st, the carrier will duplicate its operations between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Following this schedule, Aerolíneas Argentinas will provide 2,380 weekly seats between the Argentine capital and the Brazilian city and vice versa. As published on the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, the two daily flights will continue until the end of March.
