«These new frequencies are the confirmation of the strong commitment that Aerolíneas Argentinas is making to increase its international offer and boost the arrival of tourists to the country from all over the region,» commented Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The state-owned airline will also resume its flights to Florianopolis and Salvador from Buenos Aires during the summer, and from Córdoba to Florianopolis and Río de Janeiro.

According to Aerolíneas Argentinas, 65% of the tickets on the route between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo are from Brazilian tourists, which shows the boost that inbound tourism will have in the country given the favorable exchange rate for the neighboring country.
