The first international flights to Ushuaia for the cruise season have been confirmed

-

Crystal Expedition Cruises, a company known for its luxury tours around the world, will offer non-stop charter flights between Miami (MIA) and Ushuaia (USH), at Argentina’s southernmost end. This new arrangement replaces the previous one, which provided for a connection in Buenos Aires.

According to our media partner, Aeroin, the company announced on its website that the flight will be operated by a private jet. Although the aircraft model is not confirmed, there is a possibility that the leg will be performed with Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, which are fully configured in business class and operated by Comlux Aruba.

Update: In contact with Aviacionline, they have confirmed that the flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200 of National Airlines and Boeing 767-200ER of Omni Air International.

Demand is such that the package titled Crystal Endeavour will operate eight trips from 11 to 19 nights, between November 2021 and February 2022. According to the company’s website, four Antarctic cruises will be operated during the 2021/2022 season. The most ambitious expeditions are to the Falkland Islands and South Georgia, with departures on December 21 and January 16, 2022.

All-inclusive fares are USD 33,000 per person.

In order to meet this demand, the Malvinas Argentinas International Airport was one of the first ones to be enabled as a safe corridor a few weeks ago.
