JetSMART’s fifth Airbus A320 starts regular operations in Argentina

-

This Wednesday (6) the first regular flight of JetSMART‘s new Airbus A320 (LV-JQE) took off from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. The aircraft had been in Argentina since September 29th, when it arrived at Ezeiza Airport from Santiago de Chile.

With this introduction, JetSMART puts its fifth airplane into service in Argentina. In addition, at publication time, one of the low-cost airline’s Airbus A320-200s is in the Chilean capital (apparently for maintenance), so the airline continues with four aircraft in operation.

During October JetSMART Argentina will inaugurate two new routes from Buenos Aires, while it will resume an interprovincial route (bypassing Aeroparque Airport) suspended in March 2020 as a result of COVID-19.

Jujuy and Comodoro Rivadavia will join JetSMART’s regular schedule on October 14th and 20th respectively, while flights between Salta and Iguazú will start on October 19th.
