GOL Linhas Aéreas announced that it will resume regular flights between Brazil and Argentina from December 19 with a «gradual and conscious» recovery schedule based on the progress of the vaccination against COVID-19 in Brazil and the measures to reopen Argentine borders to foreign visitors.
The Brazilian airline company will concentrate its flights at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires, operating daily flights to Sao Paulo/Guarulhos and Rio de Janeiro/Galeao, in addition to two weekly flights to Florianópolis.
The operation at Aeroparque will improve connections to and from cities in the interior of Argentina thanks to its code-sharing agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas, thereby making up for the lack of direct flights from Córdoba, Mendoza, or Rosario.
Gol also highlighted that the new schedules to Sao Paulo will facilitate quick connections to other destinations in Brazil using Terminal 3 of Guarulhos airport.

Buenos Aires joins other Gol international destinations that will resume soon, such as Montevideo (on 11/3), Cancun (11/12), and Punta Cana (11/13).
