Eastern Airlines alters its schedule to Uruguay

-

Last June the 24th, Eastern Airlines inaugurated its regular operations to Montevideo, Uruguay, from Miami. The American carrier has started with two flights per week on Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft, configured with 244 seats.

Since then, the airline has made several modifications to its operations schedule, particularly with cancellations during the last few weeks.

As we reported, Eastern Airlines will have one frequency a week to the Uruguayan capital in October with the Boeing 767-200 and Boeing 767-300.

This schedule of operations between Miami and Montevideo will continue during November. Eastern had originally scheduled twice-weekly flights.

In the booking system, the two operations per week are available as of December. However, these flights are not confirmed, so there may be changes in the near future.
