Azul resumes flights to Orlando

-

Azul Linhas Aéreas expands its offer to the United States. Our partner site Aeroin reports that as of December 1, 2021, it will resume services to Orlando (MCO) with daily flights operated with its 298-seat Airbus A330-900neo, connecting from São Paulo/Campinas. Tickets are now on sale on Azul’s website.

«Orlando is one of the most popular destinations in our network and we were daydreaming of the day when we could announce the return of our operations to this city. We will be back to operations now targeting the high school vacation season in Brazil. Our domestic business is already larger than it was before the pandemic and, although we understand that the international network will take a little longer to fully recover, the resumption of one more destination and the increase of new flights to the United States makes us even more connected and strengthened», said Abhi Shah, Azul’s Vice President of Revenue.

The reopening of flights to Orlando follows the White House announcement of the easing of entry into the U.S. for vaccinated international travelers beginning November 8.

Flight Itinerary

  • São Paulo/Campinas – Orlando Flight AD8708 VCP 09:50 – MCO 17:00
  • Orlando – São Paulo/Campinas Flight AD8709 MCO 19:15 – VCP 06:00+1

Azul’s network of long-haul destinations will be composed of services to Fort Lauderdale, increasing the operation to the United States with two daily flights and from Europe will connect to Lisbon, while the service to Oporto remains suspended.
