Air Transat returns to Malaga

Starting December 14, 2021, Air Transat will resume its flights between Montreal (YUL) and Malaga (AGP) with a weekly operation during the boreal season.

Flight schedule

Montreal – Malaga TS252 YUL 20:30 – AGP 09:20+1 – one flight per week on Tuesday operated by Airbus A321LR with 199 seats.

Malaga – Montreal TS253 AGP 11:00 – YUL 13:00 – one flight per week on Wednesday operated by Airbus A321LR with 199 seats.

Air Transat operates the only transatlantic flight to Costa de Sol Airport (AGP), following the discontinuation of the 2018 Delta Airlines seasonal service to New York (JFK). According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Aena Statistics, in 2019 55,711 passengers were carried on the Montreal (YUL) – Malaga (AGP) route.

For the summer season, the company will gradually increase its operations in Spain connecting Madrid (MAD), Barcelona (BCN), and Malaga (AGP) with the main Canadian cities.

Schedule for the 2022 summer season

From April 2022.

Montreal (YUL) – Malaga (AGP) – twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Wednesdays operated on 199-seat Airbus A321LRs.

Montreal (YUL) – Madrid (MAD) – twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Sundays operated on 199-seat Airbus A321LRs.

Montreal (YUL) – Barcelona (BCN) – three weekly flights on Monday, Thursday and Saturday operated in Airbus A330-200 between 332-345 seats.

Flights will connect to Toronto (YYZ), Calgary (YYC), and Vancouver (YVR). Air Transat is the Canadian airline with the most destinations in Spain.
