Copa Airlines Resumes Flights to Cucuta

-

After suspending operations in 2016, Copa Airlines announces the relaunch of its route between Panama and Cúcuta with three weekly flights starting December 6, 2021.

«We are pleased to once again operate to this destination, being the only airline that will connect Cúcuta with the rest of the continent, offering our passengers the possibility of getting to know this wonderful city. The addition of this route is part of Copa Airlines’ commitment to being a key player in the development and reactivation of the tourism sector in Latin America,» said Paola Castaño, commercial manager for Copa Airlines in Colombia.

Cúcuta is a Colombian city of 711,000 inhabitants located on the northeastern border of Colombia, bordering the states of Táchira and Zulia in Venezuela. This service aims to capture the large Colombian-Venezuelan traffic in the region, potentially serving a market of around 900,000 inhabitants.
