The Airbus Mexico Training Center celebrates its fifth anniversary

-

The Airbus Mexico Training Center (AMTC) is celebrating five years of operations. Since its inauguration in 2016, the AMTC has trained more than 4,500 pilots from major Mexican airlines.

The 2,500-square-meter facility offers A320 Family operators initial and recurrent training for pilots and maintenance personnel, as well as type-rating for pilots with experience on other aircraft.

The AMTC has two A320 simulators and also has the capacity to offer up to 500 hours of virtual flight time per month per simulator, representing around 12,000 flight hours per year.

Air traffic in Latin America is progressively increasing, and this will require the training of more than 5,500 pilots over the next few years.
