Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier Swoop Airlines announced the addition of a new route linking Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) with Kingston Norman Manley International Airport (KIN), Jamaica, as part of its winter schedule.
The flight will be operated twice a week starting December 8. The company plans to launch start up fares from CAD 129.
«We are pleased to strengthen our airline’s foothold in Jamaica by connecting to the city of Kingston during the holidays,» said Bert van der Stege, Swoop’s Chief Commercial and Financial Officer. «Our travelers have embraced our consistently affordable flights to Jamaica and we look forward to building on our success in the region with our new direct service connecting Toronto and Kingston,» he added.

The ultra-low-cost carrier also resumed connecting Toronto to Montego Bay (MBJ) last September 11, operating three weekly flights.
Swoop began operating in 2018 as a subsidiary of WestJet. The company has a route network with scheduled destinations to Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Since its start, Swoop has carried more than 3 million passengers. Its fleet consists of 9 Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
