New Brazilian airline doubles number of passengers carried in one month

Itapemirim Transportes Aéreas, the new Brazilian airline that is part of the Itamemirim Bus Group, announced operational results for August 2021, a period in which it carried 79,529 passengers, a growth of 105% compared to July.

According to a report of our media partner in Brazil, Aeroin, last month the company had 721 flights, 70% more than the previous month, The occupancy factor grew by 13 percentage points to 70%, with a fleet of five Airbus A320s.

On time performance  has also improved significantly, from 77% to 89%.

During August, Itapemirim expanded its network by inaugurating new destinations such as Fortaleza, Florianópolis, Maceió, Natal and Recife, while adding the routes Natal-Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro (Galeão)-Fortaleza, Porto Seguro (BA)-Salvador, Rio de Janeiro (Galeão)-Salvador, Maceió-Recife, Rio de Janeiro (Galeão)-Recife, Belo Horizonte (Confins)-Brasília and Brasília-Salvador.
