Emirates resumes flights to Sao Paulo with Airbus A380s

As of October 31, Emirates will resume operations between Dubai and Sao Paulo with Airbus A380-800s. The flights are currently operated by Boeing 777-300(ER), with a capacity for 356 passengers.

The United Arab Emirates airline will fly once a day to the Brazilian city with Airbus A380s. These aircraft operated to Guarulhos airport until March last year, but were suspended due to COVID-19.

With the seven weekly flights on the Airbus A380s, Emirates will offer 3,423 weekly seats between Dubai and Sao Paulo and vice versa. The airline currently has 2,492 seats per week per leg on Boeing 777s.

Mexico City and Sao Paulo are Emirates’ only Latin American destinations from its hub at Dubai Airport. Flights to the Mexican capital are operated with Boeing 777-200(LR) aircraft, with a stopover in Barcelona.
