Cubana postpones its return to Buenos Aires

-

Cubana de Aviación announced on its social networks that it will cancel its Buenos Aires/Havana flights throughout October. In a statement, it explained that it had taken this decision because Argentina establishes very restricted passenger quotas due to «the existing sanitary situation derived from the Covid-19 pandemic».

Cubana’s operations to Argentina have been paralyzed since May. As a result of the decrees that have been extending the border closure, their resumption was postponed several times. The last date chosen for the return had been September.

Now its tentative resumption date will be November 20 with flight CU360 between Havana and Buenos Aires. The return flight will be on November 22, with service CU361. According to the company, affected passengers will be able to request a change of date -free of charge- for one year.
