Aerolíneas Argentinas inaugurates flights between Mendoza and Santiago de Chile

This Saturday (25), Aerolíneas Argentinas‘ inaugural flight to Santiago de Chile departed from El Plumerillo Airport (Mendoza). The operations will be carried out in Embraer 190, with a capacity for 96 passengers.

This flight marked the resumption of international operations in Argentina (besides Buenos Aires) after 18 months. Until now, the Argentine capital was the only city in the country with cross-border connections.

In accordance with the current demand, the airline will have a weekly frequency between Mendoza and Santiago de Chile.

«This new flight allows us to continue strengthening the connectivity from the region with flights without passing through Buenos Aires. We are working on a significant offer of seats for the summer season that will allow Mendoza and our entire network to have a greater operation» said Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
