LADE: the Argentine Air Force’s airline based in Patagonia will add new routes

-

Since January 2021, LADE has been adding new cities to its total network of destinations both in Buenos Aires and Comodoro Rivadavia, two of the company’s most important bases.

The development airline of the Argentine Air Force added Valle de Conlara and Villa Mercedes in January with the arrival of this year’s summer season. In principle, the agreement for these charter operations lasted until June, but LADE will continue with these flights until at least October 11.

As for the south of the country, Líneas Aéreas del Estado returned to El Calafate after 4 years on March 2, with a triangular flight between Río Gallegos, Río Grande and Ushuaia, departing from and arriving to Comodoro Rivadavia. A few weeks later, more specifically on March 30, Puerto Madryn again received operations of the company to and from Comodoro in the Twin Otter.

On the other hand, last April 28, the first Boeing 737-700 of the Argentine Air Force arrived at El Palomar Airport. Since then, the aircraft has performed several special operations with LADE to several Argentine cities. In addition, due to the transfer of Blue Helmets, the aircraft flew to Cyprus at the end of July, making stopovers in Iguazu, Natal, Salt Island and Malaga.
