Last Sunday (8), JetSMART Chile‘s first flight from Aeroparque to Santiago de Chile took off at 22:13 local time. The airline had previously operated at El Palomar and Ezeiza, as far as Buenos Aires airports are concerned.
As a result of the restrictions, the JetSMART Group will have between two and three weekly flights connecting the capital cities of Argentina and Chile. Operations will be carried out on Airbus A320-200s, configured with 186 seats.
JetSMART Chile’s first flight to Buenos Aires was on December 27, 2018, operating between Santiago de Chile and El Palomar. Until March 2020, the low cost had almost three daily flights between the two cities.
At the moment, JetSMART Group’s operations between Argentina and Chile are not confirmed. The note will be updated when the flights are authorized.
Tentative Schedule
The booking system shows JetSMART Argentina operations from Aeroparque to Santiago de Chile on Tuesdays, while JetSMART Chile flights would be on Mondays and Fridays. It is yet to be known if the route to the Argentine capital will be authorized for passenger traffic.
