JetSMART Argentina resumed flights to El Calafate

-

On August 2, JetSMART resumed flights between Buenos Aires and El Calafate. The Argentine low cost carrier will fly twice a week on Airbus A320-200s, configured with 186 seats in a single class.

El Calafate rejoined JetSMART’s route schedule in Argentina after almost two months. As a result of the Coronavirus situation, travel restrictions and their impact on demand, operations had been temporarily canceled.

«The city of El Calafate is positioned as a unique destination for its landscapes, where it is possible to enjoy nature without crowds,» says Darío Ratinoff, commercial manager of JetSMART.

«We believe that the progress of vaccination throughout the territory can help to recover the level of passengers and more people can return to visit this city in new planes taking advantage of the winter vacations or a weekend that can be taken», completes the executive.
