Iberia’s network recovery process in Latin America continues to accelerate as countries relax entry restrictions and demand reactivates.
In this context, the airline announced the increase in the frequency of flights on its route between Madrid and San José, Costa Rica, from five to seven weekly operations.
They are operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft with capacity for 288 passengers, 19 of them in Business and 269 in Economy.
“We know the importance of maintaining connectivity with Central America and, therefore, in 2021 we will offer 246,000 seats. Currently, Iberia is the company that offers better connectivity and a greater number of direct flights from Europe, so it is an immense joy to have recovered the usual flight schedule that we offered before the pandemic, «said Víctor Moneo, Sales Director LATAM and Institutional Agreements.
“With almost five decades flying to the country, we were pioneers in connecting Costa Rica on a direct flight with Europe in 2004 and our commitment remains constant over time. We trust that this increased capacity will help to energize the market; without a doubt, its variety of landscapes and microclimates, together with its commercial activity, make it an emblematic destination in which to continue growing ”, he concluded.
Flight IB6317 departs daily from Madrid at 11:35 AM and arrives in San José, Costa Rica at 2:30 PM. In the opposite direction, it takes off as IB6314 at 15:55, landing in the Spanish capital at 10:45 the next day.
