Colombia’s Wingo joins ALTA as full member

The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) is pleased to announce the participation of Wingo and its team as a full member airline of ALTA, a group of airlines in the region operating domestic and international destinations.

We continue to work together to offer the region the safest and most efficient means of transportation, as well as a sustainable industry that generates jobs and well-being in all corners. In this moment of recovery it is fundamental to work together, and having Wingo is one more step in this direction,» comments José Ricardo Botelho, Executive Director & CEO ALTA.

Founded in October 2016, Wingo offers domestic flights to Bogota, Barranquilla, Cartagena, San Andres, Cali, Medellin and Santa Marta; and international destinations as Quito, Guayaquil, Havana, Caracas, Cancun, Mexico City, Curacao, Lima, Oranjestad, Panama, San Jose, Punta Cana and Santo Domingo.

Wingo is IOSA certified, which involves just over 900 standards and practices in air safety operations, flight and ground operations, engineering and maintenance, cargo and special cargo transportation, as well as dispatch and operational control.
