Starting October 6th, Spirit Airlines will inaugurate non-stop flights between Miami and Bogota. The airline will fly with Airbus A320-200s, configured with 182 seats in a single class.
Spirit will have a daily frequency between the two airports, according to the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform. The company will offer 1,274 weekly seats between Miami and Bogota and vice versa.
For the first time, the airline will operate between both cities. Since its first flights to Bogota in 2008, Spirit has operated to and from Fort Lauderdale, one of its most important hubs in the United States. On the other hand, the company has flights to the Colombian capital city from Orlando.

Spirit joins American Airlines, Avianca and LATAM as airlines operating between Miami and Bogota. Currently, between the three companies, there are approximately 250 monthly flights between both airports.
