GOL’s eleventh Boeing 737-8 arrived in Brazil

-

During the afternoon of this Monday (26), the eleventh Boeing 737-8 of GOL arrived in Belo Horizonte from Cancun.

According to what was reported by our partner site AEROIN, the aircraft registered as PR-XMQ is one of the 2 to be received by GOL, since the PR-XMN, the following unit, must fly from the factory to Brazil during the first fortnight of August, undergoing an ANAC inspection process prior to its entry into service.

While GOL expects to have 18 units by the end of the year, only 11 of the 101 737 MAX ordered by the company are already in Brazil: PR-XMA, PR-XMB, PR-XMC, PR-XMD, PR-XME, PR- XMF, PR-XMG, PR-XMM, PR-XMO, PR-XMP, and PR-XMQ.

By December of this year, the Brazilian company aims to expand its fleet to 129 aircraft, compared to the 127 it had until the end of last year.

On December 9, days after the launch of the FAA and ANAC, GOL became the first airline in the world to resume regular passenger flights with the Boeing 737 MAX.
