China and Russia: Aerolíneas Argentinas double operation to transport vaccines

Aerolíneas Argentinas began the operation of another flight to the People’s Republic of China in search of more doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

Flight AR1074 departed at 12:49 from Ezeiza International Airport and will make an intermediate stopover in Madrid both on the outward and return journey and its return is scheduled for 7:10 pm on Monday.

The flight is the third of the 10 confirmed during the month of July and will bring 8 million doses of the vaccine produced by the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corp. It should be remembered that yesterday afternoon, also from Beijing, 768,000 new doses arrived.

For its part, the flight that was to leave on Saturday morning to Moscow was postponed and will leave at 3:00 on Sunday.

Aerolíneas Argentinas has completed a total of 21 flights to Moscow in which 11,263,375 doses of the vaccine produced by the Gamaleya Institute were transported. In addition, from Beijing, a total of 6,731,200 arrived in the country on 9 flights. In this way, in 30 complete operations a total of 17,994,575 doses were brought.
