Changes on the Miami – Montevideo route of Eastern Airlines

-

On June 24, Eastern Airlines inaugurated its flights between Miami and Montevideo. The North American company has two weekly operations in the Boeing 767-300, with capacity for 244 passengers.

Eastern’s start to the Uruguayan capital marked the return of flights between the United States and Uruguay after four months. As a result of COVID-19, American Airlines suspended operations to Montevideo in March, planning to resume these flights next December, with a daily frequency in Boeing 777-200 (ERs).
