Aeroméxico yesterday presented its operating results for June of this year. This document details the statistics about the company’s flights.

The airline carried 1,407,000 passengers in June 2021, which represents an increase of 3.6% compared to May and 80% of the level of June 2019. However, the recovery is not homogeneous.

While passenger traffic on domestic flights is 98.5% of the June 2019 level, international flights only reaches 52% of the amount compared to the same period.

On the other hand, the transport capacity on domestic flights increased by 1.6% compared to June 2019. In the international segment, meanwhile, it reaches only 48% of the levels prior to the pandemic.

On the other hand, the load factor in June was 78.1%, an increase of 1% compared to May this year and 6.8% less than in June 2019. The domestic load factor was 83.8%, 0.4 percentage points more than in the aforementioned period.

In June 2021 Aeroméxico increased its capacity to Europe by 25%, taking advantage of the fact that several European countries opened their borders to vaccinated Mexican tourists. The airline flies to Madrid twice a day, to Paris once a day (and two extra flights Wednesday and Thursday) and to Amsterdam once a day.
