The airline of the hotel group Iberostar, based in the Balearic Islands in Spain, received its first Airbus A350-900 for the northern hemisphere summer season.

On June 9, the A350 with the EC-NOI registration made its delivery flight between Toulouse / Blagnac (TLS) in France and Madrid (MAD) in Spain. The aircraft has a single class configuration of 432 seats, in rows of 9 seats (3-3-3).

This aircraft will join the Airbus A330-300, which is based in Lisbon (LIS), configured for 388 passengers. A second A350 is expected to be delivered in 2022 and will be based in Portugal.

The two Airbus A350s are delivered via the lessor Air Lease Corporation (ALC). “We are delighted to deliver the first of two new A350-900s aircraft to our new customer, World2Fly,” said Matthew Stevens, associate vice president of marketing for Air Lease Corporation. “ALC is pleased to help launch World2Fly with the new aircraft and we are confident that the A350-900 will help set it apart in the market,” concluded Stevens.
