Viva received its eighth A320neo

-

Viva continues to advance its fleet renewal plan and received its eighth Airbus A320neo over the weekend through the lessor Aviation Capital Group, as part of a long-term transaction involving 27 other aircraft of the same model.

The aircraft, MSN 10482, received the Colombian registration HK-5366, and had made its first test flight on May 31 from the Airbus plant in Hamburg, Germany.

Viva baptized the aircraft as «Efecto Viva», in tribute to the effect on the rates they have every time they enter a market.

«As its name says, ‘Efecto Viva’ will begin to fly to our new destinations to break prices and lower market rates, making air travel a reality for all travelers in the region,» the company expressed through a publication on its social networks.

Viva’s first NEO was received in October 2020, and since then they have received one aircraft per month: HK-5352 «Boomerang», HK-5353 «I ♡ Viva», HK-5360 «Hasta la Viva, baby ????», HK-5361 «Rayo McViva ⚡», HK-5365 «Yellow Submarine», HK-5367 «Volaré, oh oh ????», HK-5368 «Waffles», to which «Viva Effect» now joins.
