TAP Air Portugal will fly to Punta Cana

TAP Air Portugal announced the launch of its new route to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on December 11 with a frequency of two flights per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

According to our partner Aeroin, the company presents this destination as the ideal destination to escape the frozen European winter and relax on a vacation of complete rest on the colorful beaches of the Dominican Republic.

This is how TAP Air Portugal presented its new destination from the official Twitter account

The outbound flight will depart from Lisbon as TP179 at 5:20 pm local time and will arrive in Punta Cana at 9:20 pm, while the return flight to Portugal will depart as TP178 at 10:50 pm local time and will arrive in Lisbon during the next morning, around 10:20.

The route will be carried out with Airbus A330-900 aircraft, which has 34 seats in Business, 96 in Economy Premium and 168 in Economy.

In addition, TAP Air Portugal plans to start flying the Lisbon-Cape Town route next winter, a connection that was previously postponed.
