EVE and Helisul Aviation formalized an alliance and placed an order with Embraer

-

Helisul Aviation, one of the largest helicopter operators in Latin America, announced its alliance with Eve Urban Air Mobility (UAM) for the acquisition and commissioning of 200 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from Eve. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026. This order represents a great bet in UAM’s market and industry, and positions HALO as the launch partner in the UK and US.

Consequently, both companies have been collaborating to evaluate how to create joint solutions for urban air mobility, using the experience and infrastructure of the classic air taxi predominant in Brazil. The companies plan to add infrastructure for the use of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL).

As Andre Stein, President and CEO of Eve Urban Air Mobility, said: “We trust that this mutually beneficial relationship will have a positive impact for many future users and allow both companies to grow their businesses exponentially.”

Embraer joins Urban Air Mobility with its spin-off Eve

Eve is a new and independent company dedicated to introduce the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem. It was founded by Embraer’s aerospace expertise, with a vision focused on the development of an electric vehicle (eVTOL). Eve is the first company to graduate from EmbraerX.

As for Halo, it provides private mobility services, with helicopters, in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is a leading company in the market, offering executive transportation in a varied fleet of helicopters through charter programs, cards, shared and full ownership. Its fleet is made up of Agusta / Leonardo AW109 and AW169 and they operate in the UK, having bases in London, the Midlands and the Channel Islands. Halo’s US headquarters offers the same type of service from its facilities in New York, Teterboro, Bridgeport, Providence and Philadelphia.
