Aeroméxico requests the prorogation of Chapter 11

-

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved the 75-day extension for the declaration of a reorganization plan by the company.

Aeroméxico will continue to carry out, in an orderly manner, its voluntary financial restructuring through Chapter 11, while continuing to operate and offer services to its clients and to contract the goods and services required for operations with its suppliers.

The Company will continue to strengthen its financial position and liquidity, protect and preserve its operations and assets, and implement the necessary adjustments to mitigate the effects of COVID-19.

«The court approved the extension due, among other reasons, to the good progress that the company has had with its restructuring,» said a spokesman of Aeroméxico.
