Vueling will start testing the IATA Travel Pass

-

Vueling announced that it will start testing the IATA Travel Pass. This app allows you to save vaccination certificates and Covid-19 tests, and check their validity before the authorities.

The first of the tests will take place today, May 7, on the flight operated between Barcelona and Zurich.

Passengers on this flight will be able to install the APP for free on their phone and thus present the relevant documentation without having to carry it on paper.

The Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, said that the objective is: «to facilitate the travel experience of passengers and promote mobility between countries with highly advanced technological solutions that are pioneering in the world».

Laming also added: «The implementation of ‘health passports’ and the need to progressively lift restrictions are two key elements to reactivate the economy and social life.»
