Delta and Aeromexico celebrate four years of alliance

-

May marks four years since Delta and Aeromexico agreed to their joint commercial agreement, and since May 2017, the airlines have transported more than 22 million passengers between the United States and Mexico.

During this month, both companies will operate approximately 3,800 flights. This represents an 86% recovery compared to the same period in 2019.

Both airlines have never stopped working together to offer protocols, security measures and cleanliness to protect the health of passengers and employees. The processes used are Delta CareStandard and Aeroméxico Health and Sanitization Management System.

Alain Bellemare, President of Delta International, stated: «While the last 12 months have been challenging, Delta and Aeromexico have never wavered in our commitment to continually improve the experience and offer the best service and network for our joint customers when traveling between the USA and Mexico.»

Nicolás Ferri, Commercial Director of Aeromexico, commented: «We not only celebrate four years of our JCA with Delta, we also recognized our dedicated team that is focused on offering a cutting-edge service to our joint clients in the cross-border market.»

He added: «Over the last year, we have been through the pandemic, working more together and sharing best practices to help us recover steadily.»
