Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmed the departure of a new flight to Moscow, the fourteenth freighter to and from the Russian Federation, and plans to take off on Saturday at 2 am under flight number AR1080. They estimate the arrival at Sheremetievo International Airport at 00:30 on Sunday 9.

The departure is scheduled at 4.30 Moscow time and its arrival at the Ezeiza International Airport will be next Sunday at 7.30 pm.

“Each operation is a new opportunity to make our contribution to the great logistics chain that involves moving millions of vaccines which in turn translate into more people protected. We are proud to be able to work towards this goal,” said Pablo Ceriani, President of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

As in previous flights, the vaccines produced by the Gamaleya Institute will be transported in containers «thermobox» at a temperature of 18 degrees below zero and with an additional refrigeration load. The flight will be operated by Airbus 330 with registration LV-GIF, which was modified to function as a freighter.
