More than 300 thousand passengers passed through terminals of Perú during the first quarter

The concessionaire company for the airports of Arequipa, Ayacucho, Juliaca, Puerto Maldonado and Tacna, Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú (AAP), reported that during the first quarter of 2021 they handled 315,510 passengers on 3,433 commercial flights, which represents a 59.8% drop when compared to the same period in 2020, prior to the outbreak of the pandemic.

«Our team permanently monitors and supervises the implementation of measures to be carried out to give continuity to air operations, taking care of the health of the passengers and the entire airport community by complying with the health protocols at airports, counting on their commitment and permanent collaboration”

The company said that 158,000 passengers passed through the Arequipa airport, followed by Juliaca with 76,000, Tacna with 42,000, Puerto Maldonado with 28,000, and Ayacucho with 23,000.
