American Airlines resumes New Delhi service after nine years

After a nine-year absence, American Airlines will resume regular operations to New Delhi, capital city of India, from October 31st. American will have three weekly flights to and from New York with American´s Boeing 777-200(ER), with a capacity for 273 passengers.

From November 17th, American Airlines will offer a daily flight between both cities. This schedule will be until January 3rd, 2022, when it will return to three flights per week.

American Airlines operated last scheduled flight to New Delhi on February 28th, 2012. On that occasion, AA had a daily operation to and from Chicago on Boeing 777-200s.

In addition to resuming operations to New Delhi after 9 years, American will fly between Seattle and Bengaluru with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners starting October 30th. American Airlines will have 7 weekly flights between both cities.

On the other hand, American Airlines and JetBlue signed a codeshare agreement with Boston and New York flights, called the Northeast Alliance. This codeshare will connect all operations of both companies from previously mentioned cities, including New Delhi.
