Aeroméxico transported 1.16 million passengers in March

Grupo Aeroméxico presented its operational results for March 2021, in which it transported 1.16 million passengers, an increase of 30% compared to February this year, and 12.3% compared to March 2020.

The offer, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), had an increase of 12.7% compared to the previous month, and a decrease of 25.6% in the year-on-year comparison, mainly affected by the international segment, which fell by 41 %.

Passenger traffic, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPK), registered an increase of 30.2% in relation to February but decreased by 25.6% compared to March 2020.

This resulted in an increase in the load factor, both in the month-to-month and year-on-year comparison, of 9.2 and 10.5 percentage points respectively, reaching 75.3%. The domestic market reached a rate of 85.4%, 20.9 percentage points more than in March of last year.
