A year ago, American Airlines made its last regular flight between New York and São Paulo as a result of the restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These flights were operated on the company´s Boeing 777-300(ER)s once a day, with a capacity for 304 passengers.
Currently, American Airlines has flights to São Paulo from Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-300(ER), respectively.
According to the information obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, and reconfirmed with the reservation system, American Airlines will resume regular operations between New York (JFK) and São Paulo from March 28th. As of 2020, flights will be operated with the Boeing 777-300(ER).

Nowadays, LATAM Brazil and Delta Air Lines have non-stop flights between São Paulo and New York. As for the Brazilian company, the operations are carried out on the Boeing 767-300(ER), while the U.S. airline uses the Boeing 767-400(ER).
