American Airlines Will Resume Flights to Montevideo, Uruguay

-

From August, American Airlines has two weekly flights between Miami and Montevideo, Uruguay, on their Boeing 777-200(ER). All these flights are only cargo, operated on airplanes configured for passengers flights.

At the beginning of this year, American informed that they had the intention to fly between Miami and Montevideo on their Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, with a capacity for 226 passengers. But, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. airline drastically changed its schedule in the middle of this year. They planned to resume flights to Montevideo on December, and also modifyng Miami – Montevideo to a seasonal route.

Finally, American Airlines changed again their schedule some weeks ago. The company will resume passengers flights to Uruguay from November 6th, 2020, with their Boeing 777-200(ER), configurated with 273 seats.
