Regarding the Latin American Market, Copa Airlines will also operate daily from Panama starting November 20, while Avianca will resume flights from Bogotá next Sunday 1.

Between March of this year when the pandemic broke out and October 19, the Punta Cana airport received just 777 flights, so going to 143 a week is an important sign of recovery for a country whose 8% of its GDP depends on tourism.

In 2019, Punta Cana Airport handled over 7.1 million passengers.
