After the reopening of the domestic market announced this week, the Argentine government will move forward on restarting international flights on Monday, October 19, the date on which a new official decree will be published.
Sources close to the Ministry of Transport confirmed Aviacionline that this will change the name of special flights to scheduled flights, giving airlines the possibility of scheduling their operations without the need to obtain authorizations on a case-by-case basis, opening a horizon for the commercialization of tickets at a longer term.
This measure would help provide predictability for both airlines and passengers themselves, and will be a key step in the recovery of industry.
Flights from Argentina will be available for Argentines or foreigners (although each passenger must be informed about the requirements for entering on destination), but entry to the country will continue to be restricted to Argentine citizens or residents, since this is contemplated in the decree that regulates the sanitary emergency.
